Your Mission

As a Sr. Recruitment Marketing Specialist, you will support our recruitment marketing efforts, leveraging the power of our applicant tracking system to enhance candidate engagement and streamline hiring. You’ll develop innovative recruitment campaigns and optimize candidate strategies to attract top-tier talent across Great Clips’ network of salons. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • System administrator for iCIMS which includes managing permissions, API’s, configuration, troubleshooting, end-user support, reporting, etc.
  • Vendor relationship management support with iCIMS including product enhancements, compliance, account updates, and business reviews. 
  • Continuously assess the candidate marketing and application process to identify opportunities for simplifying and improving both the visibility and brand equity of Great Clips salons, strengthening our position as the top choice for salon professionals. 
  • Recruitment marketing campaigns: Design and execute regular creative recruitment marketing campaigns targeting the Great Clips Talent Community via email and SMS to continue to keep them engaged. 
  • Vendor relationships: Research and collaborate with external recruitment vendors to create plans aimed at engaging untapped candidate groups.
  • Recruitment marketing analytics: Analyze career site, recruitment marketing media and campaigns, and job board metrics to identify opportunities to optimize performance.  
  • Continuously optimize job boards, job search engines, and digital platform strategies to increase applications for salon openings.
  • Design, implement, and report on automated email and SMS workflows for cosmetology and barbering school educators to enhance communication and strengthen relationships with the Great Clips brand. 
  • Support ongoing compliance updates to the Great Clips career site by collaborating with vendors and ensuring continued adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with recruiting resources to establish strong, transparent communication with Great Clips franchisees, actively gathering feedback and understanding hiring needs. 
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to optimize and ensure consistent recruiting system performance.
  • Stay on top of industry trends in recruitment marketing and talent acquisition technologies.
  • System administration for other platforms including HR portal, brand portal, internal job posting portal.
  • Ability to listen, earn trust, and accept direct feedback from franchisees while building strong, positive relationships.

Your Expertise

  • The ideal candidate for this role is a mid-career professional with at least 2 years of experience in recruitment marketing or talent acquisition, including expertise in ATS platforms like iCIMS. Their skills in digital marketing, data analytics, vendor management, and campaign optimization, combined with a creative and analytical approach, make them well-suited to drive recruitment strategies and enhance candidate engagement for Great Clips.

Required

  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment marketing, talent acquisition, or a similar field, with system administration experience in iCIMS or other ATS platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment marketing or candidate engagement strategies.
  • Digital marketing acumen, with experience in job boards and online advertising to attract candidates.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize recruitment processes.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, and formula creation for efficient reporting and data management.
  • Experience in the salon, service-based or franchise industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and performance tracking platforms.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for both marketing and talent acquisition.

Your Work Environment

This is a hybrid work position requiring a combination of in-office workdays and the option to work from home on the remaining days. Working remotely will require reliable, secure internet. 

Beginning in April 2025, employees will be required to work in-office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In April 2026, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be required in-office days.
