Salary Range: $88,000 To $105,000 Annually

This position is responsible for the timely and effective coordination and execution of a variety of legal, technology, and data privacy matters. This professional will support all areas of the business by providing a wide range of guidance and solutions to mitigate risk. This position will directly support the Director of Legal, Privacy & Technology with drafting and redlining contracts, supporting change management projects, creating systems and procedures that drive compliance with privacy laws, research, contract management, vendor management, and assistance with a broad array of projects and initiatives.  

Your Mission

On your journey, you will face challenges such as:

  • The Privacy Manager role supports the growth and execution of the privacy and data protection programs across the business in close collaboration with legal counsel.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including Marketing, Technology, Data, and Operations to help ensure responsible and compliant use of information.
  • Manage day-to-day privacy operations, including administration of consumer privacy requests and related workflows.
  • Assist in reviewing vendor data practices and supporting third-party risk and due diligence activities.
  • Help design and implement scalable privacy processes, tools, and documentation aligned to evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Review and collaborate on technology contracts and data protection terms, working closely with legal counsel and business stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on privacy considerations related to digital products, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement programs.
  • Contribute to data governance and transparency efforts, including maintaining privacy documentation and records.
  • Support training, education, and awareness initiatives that promote a strong culture of data privacy and compliance.
  • Engage in a highly collaborative environment where you’ll help translate complex requirements into practical, business-friendly solutions.

Your Expertise

To land this job you will need to demonstrate, and/or possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certificate (current in MN), or IAPP certification preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in privacy, technology contracting, data governance, or legal operations in an in-house legal department or law firm.
  • Experience supporting privacy programs, adtech ecosystems, mobile apps, or loyalty programs preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a franchise environment is desirable.
  • Experience with privacy management platforms and consent tools (e.g. OneTrust) preferred.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, and enterprise workflow systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation rigor.
  • Strong organizational and process design skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume operational workflows.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to build positive, trust-based relationships across the organization while demonstrating the initiative and self-direction required to manage high-volume, high-impact responsibilities.

Your Work Environment

This is a hybrid work position requiring a combination of in-office workdays and the option to work from home on the remaining days. Working remotely will require reliable, secure internet.

There may be opportunities to travel once or twice a year to meetings and conferences.
