Great Clips, Inc. is seeking a summer intern to support external and internal communications efforts for the Great Clips brand for the summer of 2025. Applicants can be college students or recent college graduates seeking hands-on experience.

Part of this vision is the support and maintenance of the internal resource hub and intranet. The Communications Intern will work with teams across the company to support franchisee communications and support the review and refresh of content on the intranet site.
Your Mission
The Communications Intern is charged with executing a project plan in alignment with the Great Clips vision, goals, and culture. On your journey, you will have the opportunity to:
- Research and share learnings on best practices around digital asset management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand what their needs are from the intranet site as a resource hub.
- Assist with the development of a project plan to review, revise, and refresh content across the intranet site.
- Present and gain buy-in on your project plan to key stakeholders.
- Execute your project plan to deliver easy-to-find resources that align with best practices in user experience.
- Support the creation of user groups within the platform.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to listen, earn trust, and accept direct feedback from franchisees while building strong, positive relationships.
Your Expertise
To land this internship you will need to show the ability to, and possess the following:
- At least 2 years of college or university experience.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, to manage and engage resources as required.
- GREAT written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective project management skills, including time-management, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Microsoft Outlook.
Your Work Environment
This is a hybrid work position requiring a combination of in-office workdays and the option to work from home on the remaining days. Working remotely will require reliable, secure internet.
