The Great Clips® National Design Team (NDT) is a group of dynamic stylists who serve as brand ambassadors at industry and national marketing events and create engaging content on the Great Clips Careers social media channels. 

They’re exceptional stylists and barbers who really know their stuff, and now you can know a little bit about them, too.  

 

Astoria (Texas)

Astoria has been a licensed hairstylist for 20 years, thanks to some early guidance from her mother. Astoria says she loves the steady flow of customers – and income – at her local Great Clips® salon. She also enjoys meeting new people and changing their look with a nice haircut. When she has free time, Astoria can be found gardening or exploring the city on her bike. As the NDT lead, she’s excited to see how the team pushes each other and works together to show off the Great Clips® brand. 

Donjie (Utah)

Donjie is a Paul Mitchell School alumni and has been licensed for about 15 years. He’s an art lover and believes hair cutting and styling is an art form. Donjie’s favorite things about working at his local Great Clips salon include his awesome co-workers, flexible schedules, benefits, and being part of a great team that helps each other out. He also likes the variety of clients. As a member of the NDT, he’s most excited about traveling and working at as many events as possible in places he’s never been.  

Addison (Ohio)

Addison has worked in the industry for seven years, and credits his career to his beloved grandmother, who worked as a beautician in Long Island, New York. Addison is grateful for the tremendous support and sense of community that he has experienced with his Great Clips salon. He says his co-workers are a true team and look out for each other. As a Great Clips® brand ambassador, he’s looking forward to connecting with industry professionals and Great Clips franchisees and stylists across North America.  

Tonee (Pennsylvania)

Tonee became a stylist by chance and has worked in salons for eight years. She’s always wanted to help others feel good and credits the industry with giving her a place to work that feels like home. Tonee loves her Great Clips salon team and the positive energy they all cultivate together. In her spare time, you can find Tonee in the gym, outdoors, or scuba diving. In her new position with the NDT, she is motivated to learn as much as possible, see new places, and build relationships with her ambassador peers.  

Dee (Ontario)

Dee is a veteran stylist with 20 years of experience under her belt. As a child, she loved creating new hairstyles for her Barbie dolls, so ultimately, pursuing cosmetology was a no-brainer. She says she loves the support she gets from her Great Clips salon team, which helps her grow and reach heights that she didn’t previously think were possible. As a member of the NDT, she’s excited to travel to new places and gain experience representing the Great Clips® brand at as many industry shows as possible.  

Zauresh (Texas)

As a stylist with 16 years of experience, Zauresh is grateful for the opportunity to positively impact her customers every day while expressing her creativity. With the Great Clips brand, she says she has found a fun, dynamic community that values efficiency, quality, and artistry. She also loves collaborating with talented stylists who support each other through busy shifts. Zauresh is eager to connect with people at events and promotions as a Great Clips® brand ambassador and looks forward to demonstrating the latest trends.  

Desiré (Alabama)

Desiré loves lifting up everyone who sits in her chair. For 14 years, she’s been a stylist focused on making people look good, so they leave the salon feeling good. Desiré appreciates the diversity of customers the Great Clips® brand serves, and says she values the opportunity to grow her skillset in a fun team environment. Desiré enjoys learning and traveling as part of her NDT role. She can’t wait to meet new stylists and students and share how great it is to be part of a Great Clips salon team.  

Arielle (Minnesota)

Arielle has been in the industry for 10 years and is a big fan of the Great Clips model, which affords an immediate, steady stream of customers and stable compensation. As the oldest of eight in her family, Arielle knows the importance of a strong, supportive team dynamic and feels she has found that at her Great Clips® franchised salon. She views the NDT as a great learning experience and looks forward to all the knowledge she will gain from collaborating with a wide variety of people.
