Official Terms and Conditions

Great Clips, Inc. (“Sponsor”) is sponsoring The Great Clipper Event Giveaway for Cosmetology and Barbering students.

Eligibility: The Great Clipper Event Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is offered exclusively to legal residents of the United States (including District of Columbia) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 16 years of age and students enrolled in a cosmetology or barbering program at the time of submission. Each Prizing Period (defined below) constitutes a separate sweepstakes (each, a “Quarterly Sweepstakes”). Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, its franchisees, its affiliated companies or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, its media, sponsors, or the third parties engaged by Sponsor to assist it in administering the Giveaway or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. By applying, participating in, or accepting a prize, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Sponsor may change, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway or Terms and Conditions at any time. Void where prohibited by law. Persons who are under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the date of entry are eligible to enter the Giveaway and win a prize, provided that the parent or legal guardian of such entrant provides all consents, waivers, declarations, releases, and other documentation requested by Sponsor on behalf of such entrant.

Giveaway Submission Process:

Prizing Periods and Drawings: The Giveaway will consist of the following separate Quarterly Sweepstakes (each with its own entry pool and drawing):

July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026 (Drawing on or about October 7, 2026)
October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (Drawing on or about January 7, 2027)

Entries must be received by Sponsor by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of the applicable Prizing Period. The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeper. All entries not received within the applicable Prizing Period will be null and void and ineligible for that drawing. Entries do not carry over between Prizing Periods. A new entry is required for each Quarterly Sweepstakes.

How to Enter: To enter, an eligible student must, during a Great Clipper Event presentation held at their school, follow the link or scan the QR code provided by the Great Clips representative and personally complete the online entry form in full. Entries must be submitted during the presentation; late submissions will not be accepted. Each Entrant may submit only one (1) entry per Quarterly Sweepstakes. Only the Entrant’s own information will be collected by Sponsor. Sponsor may disclose limited information from a winning Entrant’s submission to Sponsor representatives, franchisees, vendors, fulfillment providers, or other third parties assisting Sponsor with prize administration and delivery. By submitting the entry form, Entrants acknowledge and agree that their information will also be added to Sponsor’s Talent Community and governed by the Talent Community terms and the Great Clips Privacy Notice.

By submitting an entry, the Entrant represents that the information provided is truthful and accurate. Incomplete or inaccurate entries will be null and void. Sponsor reserves the right to reject entries for failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or otherwise meet eligibility requirements.

Giveaway Selection Process: On or about the drawing dates identified in the applicable Prizing Period description, Sponsor will conduct a drawing for the applicable Quarterly Sweepstakes and will randomly select twenty-five (25) Entrants from among all valid entry forms that were completed during a Great Clipper Event presentation within the immediately preceding Prizing Period. Entries do not roll over between Quarterly Sweepstakes.

Winner Awards: Twenty-five (25) potential winners will be randomly selected in each Quarterly Sweepstakes. Subject to verification and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, each verified winner will receive one (1) clipper prize with an approximate retail value of USD $200. Limit one (1) prize per person per Quarterly Sweepstakes. Winners must complete all required eligibility, liability, publicity, parental consent (if applicable), and prize acceptance documentation and provide any information reasonably requested by Sponsor in order to receive a prize. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Prize Limits: Clipper tools are valued at up to $200 per unit, with a maximum of 25 clippers awarded per Quarterly Sweepstakes.

Prize Fulfillment: Prizes will be shipped to the mailing address provided by each verified winner. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, misdirected, damaged, returned, or undeliverable shipments. If a winner fails to provide required information or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, Sponsor may disqualify that winner and select an alternate winner from among remaining eligible entries.

Odds: The clipper prizes awarded will be selected in Sponsor’s discretion based on value and availability. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. In order for a Canadian resident to win a prize, the eligible potential winner must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

Prize/ARV; Conditions: Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Up to $5,000 per Quarterly Sweepstakes (maximum of 25 individual prizes x $200 each). Each prize consists of one (1) clipper per eligible recipient. Actual value may be less if fewer prizes are awarded. All prizes are nontransferable, non-assignable, nonnegotiable, and not redeemable for cash or credit. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Certain conditions and restrictions may apply. Prizes are awarded “AS IS” with no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, made by Sponsor or for which Sponsor shall be liable, including, without limitation, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. All costs and expenses not specified herein, related to any prize or incurred by accepting the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner, including any taxes associated with the prize. Any elements of the prize or awarding of the prize that are not specifically outlined herein will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Once awarded to the winner, the Sponsor shall have no liability whatsoever for the prizes or the use or misuse of the prizes by the winners. Upon receipt of any prize, the winner is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, and local laws, rules, and regulations.

Award Notification: Sponsor (or a representative of Sponsor) will notify potential winners no later than thirty (30) days following the applicable drawing date by email (to the addresses provided on the entry forms) or by another communication method determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

Each potential winner must complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (and, for Canadian residents, successfully answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question) by the deadline stated in the notification email in order to receive the prize. Failure to timely and properly complete these requirements, failure to provide requested shipping information, or other noncompliance with these Terms and Conditions may result in voiding/forfeiture of that individual’s prize at Sponsor’s discretion. In the event a selected winner is deemed ineligible, fails to respond within the time specified by Sponsor, fails to provide required documentation or shipping information, or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, conduct a new random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries received during the applicable Prizing Period.

Before being awarded a Prize, each prize recipient (or, if under the age of majority, the prize recipient’s parent or legal guardian) will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Sponsor, a publicity release, declaration and liability release form stating that he/she (i) has read and understood the Terms & Conditions, (ii) grants all consents required, (iii) authorizes the Sponsor to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet, voice, video and vlog in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner beyond the awarding of the prize, (iv) accepts the prize as offered (where applicable), and (v) releases the Sponsor (and its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the parties engaged by Sponsor to assist it in administering the Giveaway and their respective shareholders, directors, and officers, employees, franchisees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns) (“Sponsor Parties”) from any liability in connection with the prize or this Giveaway.

Limitation of Liability: By submitting an entry form (whether or not a prize is awarded or received), all Entrants hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor Parties from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and/or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their participation in the Giveaway or receipt of a prize.

Sponsor Parties are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, incomplete or misdirected entries, or for any technical failure of any site or any technology related to the entry or Giveaway. If for any reason the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation disruptions caused by any device, computer, virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway, and may substitute an appropriate alternate method of prize award selection, including to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time the Giveaway was interrupted.

By entering, you agree to accept and abide by these Terms & Conditions of this Giveaway and agree that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Giveaway, rule interpretation or award of a prize, shall be resolved by Sponsor, whose decisions shall be binding and final. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including any erroneous appearance of qualification for a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problem or traffic, congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Giveaway.

ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Privacy/Publicity Release: By participating in the Giveaway, entrant: (i) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her name, likeness, any comments, biographical information, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address (“Personal Information”) for the purpose of promoting the Sponsor and/or administering the Giveaway, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the winners; (ii) grants to the Sponsor the right to collect, use and disclose his/her Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to promoting the Sponsor and/or administering the Giveaway, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (iii) acknowledges the Sponsor will otherwise use the Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with the Great Clips Privacy Policy at:

http://www.greatclips.com/privacy-notice. Sponsor Parties shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent Sponsor Parties choose to partake or refrain from any exploitation of its rights hereunder.
