This Hairstylist Appreciation Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Great Clips, Inc. 4400 W 78th Street, Suite 700, Minneapolis, MN 55435 (“the Sponsor”).

  • ELIGIBILITY:
    • Each entrant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) or Canada (excluding Quebec) at least the age of majority in their state/province of residence (but at least 18) at the time of submission through the time prize is awarded. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID OUTSIDE OF THE ELIGIBILITY AREA AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
    • One (1) entry per person (regardless of method).
    • The Sweepstakes is free of charge to enter and win.
    • You must have an Instagram or Facebook account.
  • The Entrant agrees to all Facebook terms and conditions listed https://www.facebook.com/terms.php and Instagram terms and conditions listed https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870. Sponsor does not control whether or not Instagram and/or Facebook will grant you an account. Information is being submitted to Sponsor and not Instagram or Facebook.
  • HOW TO ENTER AND TIMING:
    • Follow “Great Clips Careers” on Instagram or Facebook; then like and leave a comment telling us who you appreciate and why on the post referencing this Sweepstakes with the hashtag “hairstylistappreciationsweepstakes”. Please feel free to tag the person you referenced in the comment, but tagging is not required for entry.  Post must be in English, except for commonly understood foreign words.
    • ONLY ONE COMMENT PERMITTED; ONLY COMMENT ON ONE PLATFORM; ADDITIONAL OR DUPLICATE COMMENTS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.  TAGGING MORE THAN ONE FRIEND DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. POST MUST NOT CONTAIN, FACILITATE, REFERENCE OR USE MATERIAL THAT PROMOTES BIGOTRY, RACISM, HATRED OR HARM AGAINST ANY GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL OR PROMOTES DISCRIMINATION BASED ON RACE, GENDER, ETHNICITY, RELIGION, NATIONALITY, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, POLITICAL ORIENTATION, CITIZENSHIP, ANCESTRY, MARITAL STATUS OR AGE (AS DETERMINED BY SPONSOR AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) NEGATIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE POSTS (IN SPONSOR’S DISCRETION) WILL BE REMOVED AND YOUR ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
    • Entries must be submitted between 12:00 am (central daylight time) April 25, 2022 (central time zone) and 11:59 pm (central daylight time on April 27, 2022 “the Sweepstakes Period”. Great Clips, Inc.’s (the “Sponsor”) clock is the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes. Proof of submitting an entry does not constitute proof Sponsor received the entry.
  • WINNER SELECTION: At the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period, five (5) winners (each, a “winner” and collectively, the “winners”) will be chosen by random drawing among all eligible entrants. If a winner is a legal resident of Canada, he/she will also be required to answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question. Failure to answer the question correctly within the time period specified, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner for the sweepstakes at issue.
  • PRIZE: Each winner will receive a hairstylist tool kit valued at $935 each, comprised of items chosen in Sponsor’s discretion which will include an electric clipper, trimmer, shears, razors, flat iron, cape, combs, brushes, mannequin head and stand, sprayer, grip clips, dryer, hair care product, and related items.  The odds of winning a prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received. Total ARV: US$935 per winner; US$4,675 for all winners.  
  • NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified by Instagram DM or Facebook Messenger through the account used in connection with their entry. Potential winners will be required to respond to this notification within twenty-four (24) hours, or as otherwise directed, and provide all the requested information including a written affidavit and waiver provided by Sponsor within the time frame provided by Sponsor in the notification or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion from among all remaining eligible entries. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Rules, the potential winners will be declared the official winners of the Sweepstakes. All prizes are nontransferable, nonassignable, nonnegotiable, and not redeemable for cash or credit. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Certain conditions and restrictions may apply. Prizes are awarded “AS IS” with no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, made by Sponsor or for which Sponsor shall be liable, including, without limitation, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of the same approximate retail value. All costs and expenses not specified herein, related to any prize or incurred by accepting the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner, including any taxes associated with the prize. Any elements of the prize or awarding of the prize that are not specifically outlined herein will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Once awarded to the winner, the Sponsor shall have no liability whatsoever for the prizes or the use or misuse of the prizes by the winners. In the event of a dispute regarding entries associated with a specific account, the authorized account subscriber used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the Instagram or Facebook account owner.
  • PUBLICITY RELEASE: Winners may have their name announced on Instagram and Facebook, as well as other accompanying Great Clips social media profiles. Except where or to the extent prohibited by law, each winner agrees that Sponsor may use such winner's content, name, likeness, statements, biographical information and any related images or video for any purpose whatsoever in any form or medium now or hereafter known in perpetuity without any further compensation to, or consent from, such winner. However, Sponsor has no obligation to use such materials. Each winner agrees that use of such winner's content, name, likeness, statements, biographical information and any related images or video for any purpose whatsoever does not form part of the prize and that the is not required to reproduce or display any such material in any media.
  • PRIVACY/USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant: (i) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address (“Personal Information”) for the purpose of promoting the Sponsor and/or administering the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the Winner; (ii) grants to the Sponsor the right to collect, use and disclose his/her Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to promoting the Sponsor and/or administering the Sweepstakes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (iii) acknowledges the Sponsor will otherwise use the Entrant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with the Great Clips Privacy Policy at: http://www.greatclips.com/privacy-notice. 
  • RESTRICTIONS: Entries must not contain any inappropriate or offensive materials, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any entry, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is deemed inappropriate in any way (e.g., defamation, nudity, pornography, gratuitous violence, inappropriate language, obscene, illegal, racially or morally offensive, intended to annoy or harass, or likely to transmit or contain a virus, corrupted file or any similar element), is inconsistent with the theme or image of the Sweepstakes or otherwise violates the terms or the spirit of these Rules in any way, may be rejected and result in disqualification. Entries must comply with all laws, rules, and regulations including, but not limited to, those concerning copyright, plagiarism, trademark, defamation and invasion of publicity/privacy and any terms specific to the applicable social media site.
  • INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Upon submission, you hereby assign all rights in the entry to the Sponsor, and such submitted comment shall become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.  Sponsor acquires and retains all rights, title and interest therein, including the ownership and copyright of any entry.  You will take all further acts necessary to effectuate the intent of these Rules, including, without limitation, executing and delivering to Sponsor, all such agreements, contracts and any other documents to confirm Sponsor’s ownership of the entries. The Sweepstakes and all of the related pages, contents and code, and the copyright therein, are the property of Sponsor. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation disruptions caused by any device, computer, virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, and may substitute an appropriate alternate method of prize award selection, including to award the prizes from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time the Sweepstakes was interrupted.
  • LIABILITY RELEASE: By entering, you agree to accept and abide by the rules of this Sweepstakes and agree that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Sweepstakes, rule interpretation or award of a prize, shall be resolved by Sponsor, whose decisions shall be binding and final. By participating, you agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor, Instagram, Facebook, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of any of the above organizations (including Instagram and Facebook) from any injury, loss or damage to person, including but not limited to death or property damage due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly to the acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize, participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including any erroneous appearance of qualification for a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problem or traffic, congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  • DISPUTE RESOLUTION/CHOICE OF LAW: Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. All disputes arising out of or connected with these Rules and/or the Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by the appropriate federal or Minnesota State Court. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Minnesota and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Minnesota. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Sweepstakes and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
  • WINNERS LIST: For the name of the Sweepstakes winners, send your request in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “Stylist Appreciation Sweepstakes” c/o Great Clips, Inc., 4400 West 78th Street, Suite 700, Minneapolis, MN 55435.  Request must be received by April 27, 2022.
