The purpose of this position is to support system-wide employer branding and recruitment marketing that positions Great Clips franchisees as the employer of choice for stylists and barbers and create recruiting and retention resources for salon owners to leverage within their organizations. This position reports to the Talent Brand Manager.
Your Mission
On your journey, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design and produce high-quality branded graphics and resize images needed for careers website, blogs, email newsletters, employer brand sites (Glassdoor/indeed), social media, and print materials.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with recruitment marketing/employer branding and content development vendors and agencies on graphic/static visual projects
- Develop cosmetology and barbering school presentations for franchisees to leverage during school visits and create materials to support school programs (Great Scholarship & Great Tools programs)
- Create and execute organic static social media content and report on performance
- Mine social media for user-generated content to be reshared
- Create PowerPoint presentations and resources for team webinars that provide recruiting and retention best practices to franchisees
- Be the main contact with print vendor for print branded materials (flyers, brochures, pull-up banners, etc.) and review requests from franchisees for custom print and digital talent brand materials
- Partner with Great Clips brand ambassadors and industry publications to create static visual content that promotes Great Clips salon jobs and culture
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Marketing/Communications and Education team members for content crossover opportunities
- Contribute to talent brand photo/video shoots and content development projects
- Update and maintain all static visual assets in brand portal for franchisees (photography and graphics)
- Provide input into the overall Talent Brand, social media, and cosmetology/barbering school strategy for Great Clips
- Maintain and follow Talent Brand guidelines
Your Expertise
To land this job you will need to demonstrate, and/or possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Recruiting, Graphic Design, or similar field preferred with 1-2 years of experience in a related role
- Graphic design skills (experience with Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, not Canva)
- Experience with social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and desire to keep up with social trends
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized
- Content creation and PowerPoint presentation development experience
- Recruitment marketing/employer branding experience preferred but not required
Your Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office workdays twice weekly, including every Wednesday and another day of your choice (Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday). The remainder of the week can be worked remotely with reliable, secure internet.
